When it comes to safety on Halloween, it should be all treats and no tricks. Before hitting the streets to trick or treat this Halloween, take the time to review these safety tips:

  • Always trick-or-treat in groups or with a trusted adult
  • Use a flashlight and wear reflective tape or badged for increase visibility
  • Walk on sidewalks whenever possible, and look both ways before you cross the street
  • Wear well-fitting masks and costumes to avoid blocked vision, trips, and falls
  • Have an adult examine all candy before it is eaten
