In Impact Forecasting’s Global Catastrophe Recap for June, they reported that Canada suffered more than US$40 million in damages across the country due to severe weather.

Storms, tornadoes, hail and flooding was responsible for most of the damage.

They also noted that wildfires cause some structural damage, especially in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan, with more than 12,000 people evacuated from their homes.
