The annual Vintage and Antique show in Elora is quickly approaching! On April 16 and 17 the Elora Community Centre will be host to the 25th annual show.

Home to it’s own antique and collectible shops, the community of Elora will also be host to collectors and dealers from all across Western Ontario.

One dealer is Bowles Hilltop Antiques, from the community of Markdale.

“We are very excited to be participating in the upcoming Elora Antique and Vintage show,” say Kara and Dan Bowles. They’ve been keeping a few items just for this show, including, “a collection of beaver top hats in early cases, a mid 1800′s chest of drawers with French flared foot and just to keep things interesting, a 1956 Gottlieb Rainbow fully operational 5 cent pinball machine!”

London’s Jon Clark, a specialist in pressed glass, will also be there.

“Pick a focus: Nova Scotia goblets, animal or bird decoration, every piece ever made in a specific pattern, a complete table setting for a holiday dinner – the possibilities are almost without limit.”

Clark has one of the best inventories of Canadian pressed glass in the entire country. Everything is well-researched and in mint condition. And everything he sells is backed by his expert knowledge and years of experience.

Enjoy your weekend nestled beside the Elora Gorge, examining objects that you can use to decorate your home, while looking at the historic and beautiful town as well!

On Saturday the Community Centre will be open from 10:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon, and Sunday from 11:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon. Admission is $8.00, while children under the age of 13 can be admitted for free.
