Sled Dog Races at Guelph Lake

Think you have to head up north to see an authentic sled dog race? What if we told you one was happening right here at Guelph Lake?

On Saturday, February 20 and Sunday, February 21, take a trip down to Guelph Lake and witness the best sled dog teams do their thing at this inaugural event.

Teams from all over Ontario, Quebec, and the USA are coming to complete in 1 and 2 dog skijor and 4 and 6 dog sprint races. There will also be novice classes for beginners at 2-mile circuits.

The team at the Ostic Group Insurance Brokers in Guelph, Fergus, Elora, and Shelburne would like to highlight the fact that there are volunteer opportunities available. If you are looking to complete your high school volunteer hours, or simply want to get involved, this is a great opportunity.
