The Elora Festival and Singers will be kicking off the 2016 season with their 28th Annual Giant Book Sale. From May 6th to May 8th in the community of Fergus, come out to browse through over 60,000 donated titles and find those hidden gems!

The Elora Festival Giant Book Sale will take place at the Elora Curling Club, on 27 David Street West in the community of Elora. The book sale charges $5 admission for adults on Friday (free for children), with free admission for everyone on Saturday and Sunday! The hours of the sale are as follows:

-Friday, May 6th — 5 pm to 9 pm
-Saturday, May 7th — 9:30 am to 5:00 pm
-Sunday, May 8th — 9:30 am to 4:00 pm

Did you know that over 20 dedicated volunteers work year-round to sort, organize and price the donations for our annual sale? This book fair is one of the largest in Ontario and draws crowds from far and wide. With around 60,000 gently-used books, games, LPs, CDs, DVDs, sheet music and posters on sale and over 40 different categories, you are sure to find something that can become part of your personal library!

There are no restrictions on the number of books you can purchase. All proceeds will go to support the Elora Festival Singers, so come out and support this great cause in our community!

If you would like to make a donation in advance, the Book Depot at 380 Andrew Street West in Fergus (please use the side entrance) has a book shed outside the door. You can put well-boxed or bagged books into the shed anytime day or night, seven days a week. Get in touch with the team at the Elora Festival Singers if you have a larger donation and need someone to pick them up!
