Meet The Ostic Leadership Team

I have been in the insurance industry since 1994 and have worked both for insurers and as a broker. After 30 years in the industry, I have seen every market condition, trend and many, many legislative changes. The business of insurance is ever changing and never gets old!
Owning a local business is something I am passionate about. I find nothing more satisfying than having a great conversation with a client, whether they are an individual or a fellow business owner, and helping them find the protection they need. If we happen to have a few laughs while we are at it, I guess that is just part of the job.
At home, I am a sports-playing, sports-watching, dog-walking husband and father to two wonderful adult “kids”. Now that the kids are grown, our down time is spent playing any racquet sport (now including pickleball – so addictive!) and finding reasons to get together with our local pals in Centre Wellington.

I began my insurance career in 1992 after graduating from university with a bachelor of Arts in History and an Honours Business Administration degree
My experience with State Farm and Gore Mutual includes; automobile physical damage and bodily injury claims, alternative dispute resolution, claims department management at a regional level, financial data analytics, marketing and business development, and business strategy in a corporate executive capacity.
I joined the Ostic Group in 2009 and am responsible for the financial department, human resources, business oversight, strategy, and process improvement
I like to spend time with my family, love to play sports, coach hockey, and enjoy eating anything that can be cooked on a barbecue …!

I entered the insurance industry after graduating from university with an Honours Business Administration degree
I have been a registered insurance broker since 1979 • I am responsible for the oversight, implementation & training for the Network, Data & Communications Systems at The Ostic Group.
I am also involved in consulting on the workflows & process management for the organization.
I enjoy watching sports, reading , and arguing about politics.

Jessica holds her RIBO license along with her Life Insurance designation, as well as her CIP, CAIB designations
She joined Ostic Insurance in 2012
She lives in her home community of Fergus with her family

I have worked many facets of the brokerage operation including administration, customer service, and insurance sales
I am currently involved in consulting on the workflows and process management for the organization as well as onboarding of new employees
I live in my home community of Guelph with my 2 wonderful sons
