Fergus Truck Show 2015

The Fergus Truck show is back this weekend! This is one of our team’s favourite shows of the summer.

For those that haven’t been before, the Fergus Truck show is the leading family entertainment and trucking event in North America. Since the first show in 1986, the Fergus Truck Show has donated more than $600,000 in cash and donations to various groups in the community, including the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex. What’s even better is that this yearly event have been the source of nearly 80 million dollars in economic benefit for our beloved community, with visitors coming from across the province.

What’s great about this show is the non-stop entertainment. Over the course of the weekend, spectators can watch Show & Shine competitions, truck and tractor pulls, a demolition derby, and non-stop musical entertainment!

For out of town visitors who don’t want to miss any of the fun, there are camping facilities available on-site. There are also a number of hotels and B&Bs in the community for those who are aren’t interested in camping. Accommodations throughout the county fill quickly for this weekend so make sure you book early to guarantee your spot!
